Mission Statement:

Little River Housing Communities' mission is to provide affordable housing to eligible people within our community. We strive to demonstrate social responsibility through the fair use of our resources and to provide customers with exceptional customer service. We dedicate ourselves in providing the highest quality of care and service to our residents and maintaining a homestyle atmosphere that is friendly, inviting, and rewarding for both residents and staff.

Little River Housing Communities (LRHC) is governed by a five-member Board of Commissioners and serves residents of Little River County in Arkansas. Housing opportunities at LRHC are offered for low-income individuals, families, the elderly, and persons with disabilities. Housing assistance at LRHC is provided through the Public Housing program and the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) program, previously known as the Section 8 program. LRHC is not equipped for Emergency Housing. LHRC owns and manages 148 Public Housing units and administers 53 HCVs in the area. LHRC is recognized by HUD as a High Performer and strives to promote a sense of love, happiness, and home for residents!
