Landlords (HCV)

Little River Housing Communities (LRHC) partners with private property owners to provide rental units to LRHC families in need of quality, affordable housing. Property owners help the LRHC serve families through the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) program. In addition to the satisfaction of making a difference in the community, benefits of participating in the HCV program includes:

  • Free advertising of available units
  • Guaranteed rent checks the first of each month
  • Annual inspections
  • Market rents
  • And knowing you've helped to provide affordable housing to a family.

Property owners who have property for rent should advertise and market their property. Voucher holders will contact you directly if they are interested in your property. If a family or individual with a voucher passes your screening process, you will submit a Request for Tenancy Approval (RTA) packet provided by the Voucher holder and submit it to the LRHC. Afterward, LRHC will contact you to schedule an inspection.

If a Voucher holder previously rented a unit under the HCV program, LRHC can provide the contact information for the property owner/manager of that unit to assist you in your screening process. The request must be submitted in writing to the LRHC office.
